ADCRETE PLUS is a liquid water-reducing and set retarding admixture for concrete. It contains modified lignosulphonates and has been formulated to give optimum performance in controlling setting time of concrete. ADCRETE PLUS has water reducing properties from 8- 12% depending on the dosage. ADCRETE PLUS does not contain any added chloride or other potentially corroding materials. Therefore, it may be used in prestressed concrete or in the presence of aluminium or zinc items. ADCRETE PLUS is nonstaining and can be used in architectural concrete
without fear of discoloration. It is compatible with mineral admixtures such as Silica Fumes, Fly Ash,
GGBFS and chemical admixtures such as waterproofing admixtures, air entraining agents and corrosion inhibiting agents. ADCRETE PLUS is also compatible with other types of admixtures based on napthelene sulphonate, malamine
sulphonate and polycarboxylic ether. The primary function of ADCRETE PLUS is retardetation and secondary function is water reduction.

COMPATIBILITY
ADCRETE PLUS is compatible with mineral admixtures such as Silica Fumes, Fly Ash, GGBFS and chemical admixtures such as waterproofing admixture, Air entraining agents and corrosion inhibiting agents. ADCRETE PLUS is Compatible
with other type of admixtures such as napthalene, melamine or polycarboxlic either.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
ADCRETE PLUS should be dispensed into the fresh concrete or with the final quantity of mixing water. It should not come into contact with dry cement or other admixtures until they are mixed in the concrete
ADCRETE PLUS should be dispensed with automatic equipment, thus ensuring uniformity of admixture used throughout the job for optimum performance. Also it can be fully dispersed with full quantity of water prior to be added to the dry mix of concrete. ADCRETE PLUS has high retarding properties and therefore it is essential to consider the ambient temperature, the retardation of other admixture such as fly ash and type G admixtures when deciding the dosage.

User must be fully aware of the below mentioned parameters which have direct influence on the setting time of concrete.
1. Retardation of other admixtures.
2. Ambient temperatures (location, day or night etc)
3. Setting time of concrete.
4. Temperature of the cement, aggregate and water.
5. Intended placing location of concrete,Underground or above ground column or slab
6. Humidity and wind.
7. Type of formwork, steel or wood.
8. Agitate the liquid well, prior to use.
DOSAGE
The optimum dosage should be determined by site trials with the available raw materials. As a guide, the dosage rate is normally in the range of 0.3 litres to 0.6 litres per 100kg of cement.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
ADCRETE PLUS is supplied in 205 litre drums,1000L IBC tanks or bulk delivery. ADCRETE PLUS should be stored under shade. The shelf life of ADCRETE PLUS is 12 months in its unopened drums and tanks. Once opened, we recommend
that the balance be consumed within 3 months.
