ADCRETE is a liquid water-reducing and set retarding admixture for concrete. It contains modified lignosulphonates and has be formulated to give optimum performance in controlling setting time of concrete. ADCRETE has water reducing properties from 8-12% depending on the dosage. ADCRETE does not contain any added chloride or other potentially corroding materials. Therefore, it may be used in prestressed concrete or in the presence of aluminium or zinc items. It is compatible with mineral admixtures such as Silica Fumes, Fly Ash, GGBFS and chemical admixtures such as waterproofing admixture, Air entraining agents and corrosion inhibiting agents. ADCRETE is also compatible with other types of admixtures based on napthelene sulphonate, malamine sulphonate and polycarboxylic ether.
The primary function of ADCRETE is retardetation and secondary function is water reduction

COMPATIBILITY
ADCRETE is compatible with mineral admixtures such as Silica Fumes, Fly Ash, GGBFS and chemical admixtures such as waterproofing admixtures, Air entraining agents and corrosion inhibiting agents.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
ADCRETE should be dispensed into the fresh concrete or with the final quantity of mixing water.
ADCRETE should be dispensed with automatic equipment, thus ensuring uniformity of admixture used throughout the job for optimum performance. It should not come into contact with dry cement or other admixtures until they are
mixed in the concrete. Also it can be fully dispersed with full quantity of water prior to be added to the dry mix of concrete.ADCRETE has high retarding properties and therefore it is essential to consider the ambient temperature, the retardation of other admixture such as fly ash and type G admixtures when deciding the dosage.
User must be fully aware of the below mentioned parameters which have direct influence on the setting time of concrete.
1. Retardation of other admixtures
2. Ambient temperature (location, day or night etc)
3. Setting time of cement.
4. Temperature of the cement, aggregate and water.
5. Intended placing location of concrete, Underground or above ground column or slab
6. Humidity and wind
7. Type of formwork, steel or wood.
8. Agitate the liquid well prior to use.
DOSAGE
The optimum dosage should be determined by site trials with the particular raw materials. As a guide, the dosage rate is normally in the range of 0.3 litres to 0.6 litres per 100kg of cement (inclusive of all cementitious binders such as fly ash, silica fume, GGBSF).
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
ADCRETE is supplied in 205 litre drums ,1000L IBC tanks or bulk delivery. ADCRETE should be stored under shade. The shelf life of ADCRETE is 12 months in its unopened drums and tanks. Once opened, we recommend that the balance be
consumed within 3 months.
