HYPERCRETE EXTRA is polycarboxylic ether based advanced superplasticizer which is specially developed for high fluidity concrete applications. The product could be used for virtually any type of ready-mix concreting where the slump retention is important.
HYPERCRETE EXTRA is compatible with all types of cement sand other mineral admixtures.
HYPERCRETE EXTRA is free of chlorides and meets the requirements of ASTMC494 Type G BS 507 5, BSEN 934-2
Sulfonic groups of Naphthalene or Melamine based admixtures which adsorbed on to the cement particles induce a negative charge and repulse each other and increase the workability. With a similar
mechanism, but unlike sulfonic groups, the Iateral chains of the main polymer of polycarboxylic ether induce a steric hindrance with strong repulsive force which intern increase the workability of the cement paste.

COMPATIBILITY
HYPERCRETE EXTRA is compatible with mineral admixtures such as Silica Fumes, Fly Ash, GGBF Sand chemical admixtures such as waterproofing admixture, Air entraining agents and corrosion inhibiting agents. HYPERCRETE EXTRA is compatible with lignosulphonate based admixtures and not compatible with naphthalene admixtures.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
HYPERCRETE EXTRA should be dispensed into the fresh concrete or with the final quantity of mixing water. It should not come into contact with dry cement or other admixtureuntilthey are mixed in the concrete batch. Also it can be fully dispersed with full quantity of water prior to be added to the dry mix of concrete, Agitate liquid well prior to use.
DOSAGE
The optimum dosage should be determined by site trialswith particular raw materials.As a guide HYPERCRETE EXTRA is normally used at a dosage 500ml to 2000ml per 1OOkg of cement (Inclusive of all cementitious binders such as fly
ash, silica fume, GGBFS.) However for specific requirements dosages outside the above could be used.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
HYPERCRETE EXTRA is suppliedin205L drums, 1000L IBC tanks or in bulks tankers of 2400L HYPERCRETE EXTRA has a shelf life of 12 months in its unopened drums. All admixtures should be stored under shade
SAFETY OF HANDLING
HYPERCRETE EXTRA does not contain any hazardous chemicals and nontoxic. But it is recommended that safety glows are used in handling the product.
